  • Experience great support and a real focus on wellbeing with a close connection between RMOs, Resident Doctors' Support team (RDST) and the Medical Education and Training Unit (METU).
  • Experience the benefits of the Canterbury DHB's great reputation for both prevocational and vocational training
  • The Clinical Team Coordinators!! (CTCs)
  • First Year House Officer applicants need to apply through ACE (The Advanced Choice of Employment). This scheme is a national internship matching process to appoint first-year House Offices (Post Graduate Year One's) throughout New Zealand.
  • The ACE matching scheme is coordinated nationally for all of the District Health Boards (DHBs) in New Zealand. and runs alongside DHB annual recruitment processes for RMOs.
