Health NZ - Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha Canterbury, (previously The Canterbury District Health Board) is considered a world leader in its people centered approach to manaaki hauora (health care). It is responsible for utilising the funding allocated by Government to improve, promote and protect the health and independence of the people of Waitaha Canterbury. It has a unique one health system approach focused on providing the right care and support to the right person, at the right time and in the right place.
